Statutory Rule: Full-time regular attendance is compulsory. Students enrolled in private/distance correspondence degrees are generally ineligible unless explicitly stated in guidelines.
Financial Benefits & Allowances
₹4,000 to ₹12,000 per annum + Disability Aids Allowance
Maintenance allowance + book grant + disability allowances (Reader allowance, escort allowance, helper allowance).
Disbursement Mode: Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) directly into the beneficiary's Aadhaar-seeded active savings bank account via PFMS.
